“Professors Jason and Dynamo are top-notch and Coach Jarred and the others are obviously very committed to sharing (mostly competition oriented) BJJ with all ages and backgrounds; Coach Jarred's memory for names class after class is impressive. Jason has established a really good community on the mats that frequently crosses-over to off-mat life as well. Speaking of them, the mats are cleaned after each adult BJJ, boxing, or kick-boxing use; at least 2-3x daily. It would be great to see this gym grow into a larger space!”

“If you have a little one and you're looking for a BJJ gym in the area I think this is the best place for getting your kido into BJJ. Coach Jerred and his assistants are amazing. The discipline is at higher level, which I really appreciate. We loved every minute we was there and made a lot of friends.”

“My son and I have trained at this school for two years. Professor Jason, Coach Jarred, and the rest of the crew are incredible instructors. There are a lot of high level students so it’s easy to progress, but the vibe is always chill and focused on self-improvement. I have trained at a lot of other schools as a visitor and I’m always happy to get back to my home gym. 10/10”

“My kid was attending this club and loved it. Great coaches and atmosphere. One of the few activities, where my kid really wanted to go. Also owner is very accommodating and helpful. Too bad we had to move to another city. Highly recommended!”

“I trained here for about a 18 months while I was living in Issaquah and cannot recommend this gym enough. As a transplant to the Greater Seattle area, it was hard moving to a new place, especially with the infamous "Seattle Freeze", however, everyone at the gym was incredibly warm and welcoming (instructors and fellow students alike). Most of my best memories of the Pacific Northwest took place at this gym. There are students of all levels so there is something for everyone. I have since moved to Southern California (which is supposed to be the Mecca for Jiu Jitsu) but have yet to find a gym that is as good as Gracie Barra Issaquah. If you are a newbie looking to learn BJJ for the first time or an experienced jiu jitsu practitioner, you can't go wrong with this gym. 11/10 would recommend!”
