“If you are ever in the Lake Norman area, you have to stop by and train at Gracie Barra Lake Norman. What a treat to have a Judoka and Jiu Jitsu black belt combo as the head instructor. The teaching here is top notch. Facility is clean and the staff are professional and friendly. I highly recommend this place.”

“Went in for a trial class and had an excellent experience. So much so that I am a regualr at the academy now. The instructors were very welcoming and very eager to teach. They are very passionate and have world-class skill. As someone with little grappling experience stepping into this realm was intimidating at first but Professor Marcos, Bertos, and the folks that train here couldn’t have been nicer and more patient. Would recommend to anyone.”

“I was visiting the Cornelius area, and my daughter, who trains at Gracie Barra in Campinas, Brazil, had the wonderful opportunity to participate in classes at Gracie Barra Lake Norman. She also attended the belt promotion ceremony, which was such a meaningful experience to witness. It was amazing to see her interact with the students here in the U.S. and be part of this cultural exchange through Jiu-Jitsu. We are truly grateful for the warm welcome and the incredible experience. A special thank you to Professor Beto and Professor Marcos for their guidance and hospitality.
