“It has been great to see this school grow from day one and be able to share the community Vitor and Erica offer with my hometown. They had already been running a sister Gracie barra school in Hannibal Missouri almost two years before opening Gracie Barra Quincy. As a Quincy native I was ecstatic for this opportunity to come closer to home so my friends and loved ones could benefit in ways that I have from this jiu jitsu community. You can find jiu jitsu a lot of places but you will search far and wide to find what Vitor and Erica offer at Gracie Barra Quincy. Top level instruction and nothing but love and respect from everyone on the team. They all treat my daughters and myself as family. This is my happy place.”

“I absolutely the adore the community I have found through bringing my 8 year old daughter here, so much so that I also joined about a month after her. The classes are fun and even though there are fewer women, we band together like a team and the guys also don't make me feel weird. Everyone is nice and respectful and willing to teach. If you are at all on the fence, please just give it a try! I see other BJJ studios around and they look like such a hole in the wall, dark place. But Gracie Barra is so bright, wide open, and welcoming that it outshines anywhere else before even stepping in the door. So do me a favor and step in the door ladies! We need more of you!”
