“When we signed my 11 year old son up for jiujitsu at Gracie Farmington Valley, we did not know what the future had in store.  Not only  is it comprIsed of  skilled students and coaches,  it's really so much more than that. The camaraderie, new friends, strong bonds, and caring compassionate instructors is the bonus that goes along with the fact your child will leave this place a better fighter, and more adjusted, balanced individual. Joseph has a very gifted instructional approach with the kids.  When he speaks, they are tuned in and connected. To bring our son more up to speed with the other kids, we added some private lessons (in addition to fundamentals class) from Joseph and we gradually witnessed an unlikely transformation take place before our eyes.
