“I can't say enough good things about Gracie Jiu Jitsu Acadia's "Gracie Bullyproof" program. My 5-year-old son has been enrolled for a few months now, and he absolutely loves attending the classes—he's always asking when the next one is! Initially, I enrolled him so he could learn to defend himself if needed. But the program has offered so much more than just self-defense techniques. It has taught him valuable life skills like responsibility, respect, manners, and caring for others. As an only child, this has also been a fantastic opportunity for him to socialize and make new friends. Coach Kris, the primary instructor for the kids' class, does an excellent job with the children. He's firm yet fair and knows how to make the classes fun and engaging. He ensures that every child receives the attention they need, either from himself or an assistant coach, to learn in a constructive and enjoyable way. The facility is top-notch and always kept very clean. I appreciate the attention to hygiene—Coach Kris makes sure there's fresh cleaning solution for the kids to dip their feet in before stepping onto the mat. It's clear that they prioritize the well-being of the students. Communication is seamless thanks to the "Zen Planner" app used for scheduling classes. The team is great about keeping us informed, especially if there are any cancellations or changes. While I haven't tried other martial arts programs before, I wholeheartedly recommend Gracie Jiu Jitsu Acadia to other parents. If you want your child to learn self-defense without becoming a bully, instill good life lessons, and have fun while making new friends, this is the place to be. Seeing my son grow, learn, and simply enjoy being a kid in such a positive environment has been incredibly rewarding. I'm excited to see how he continues to develop through this program.”

“This is the most welcoming gym I have never been to, as soon as I walked in the door I was greeted with a smile and a handshake from the instructor. He was extremely nice and explained how the class worked and the schedule. The class was organized well so you could learn at your own pace and feel comfortable learning new techniques.
