“Fantastic gym with amazing coaches. All of the coaches are passionate about their role as teachers and focus on technique and student development. The learning pace is very professional and organized through the Gracie University - you can learn concepts online and then see learn them live during classes. You can also learn and grow at your own pace with no rush to advance.... I also love that there are no pay walls to advance your belts.”

“Great Gym to start with if your thinking of doing Jiu Jitsu. I am a blue belt under the main Black Belt Instructor in this gym (Brian Fisher) who has been with me since day 1 at the age of 36 and I had no prior experience on any martial arts whatsoever. I’m 41 now and have competed several times in tournaments. If you have prior injuries or have worries about getting injured it’s not going to be in this gym. They will guide you step by step. The Gym has everything. The 2nd Floor you can do weight training. They also have kickboxing and Jiu Jitsu kids classes. There’s a 10 day free trial so stop by, everyone is welcome.”

“I started BJJ at a different gym that had zero structure or organization. It was very confusing, and I had no idea what lesson I was getting when I walked in everyday. We had every belt level in the class and it became difficult to learn when you’re constantly outmatched. Gracie Altamonte is the exact opposite. The combatives program is only for beginners and you learn alot of the basics and fundamentals. The classes are pre-scheduled and you know what to expect that evening. You can even take advantage of Gracie University online and watch demos from Rener Gracie which makes it easier to follow along in class and apply the technique. The fellow students have been very welcoming, helpful, and excellent training partners. The instructors are phenomenal. Henry, Brian, Jen and Berto all take time to fully explain and demonstrate the moves. Then they will come around and give you individual advice on how to tweak it to make it better. Excellent instructors. The techniques taught are absolutely Law Enforcement applicable and can help save your life in the field. Wish I started sooner. If you are brand new to BJJ and looking for a place to start, this is it. LEO friendly pricing as well.”

“Really awesome place to train. Brian takes his time to break down moves and the whole class is very welcoming and friendly, when I told them I was competing at month end, they took the time to go through drills with me and technique sparring. Really shocked how much I felt at home given I am from the UK on holiday.. They even lent me a gi 🙏🏻 definitely worth checking out if you are in the area! Thanks again guys”
