“I stopped in while I was on vacation and was lucky enough to train with Professor Carlos Diaz. Being a black belt and gym owner myself I chose to train at a Gracie gym because I knew there would be high level instruction and safe environment. I was 100% correct! The professor taught an amazing class as expected and the gym was extremely neat and clean. If you are looking for a place to train in Destin with friendly students and a knowledgeable instructor this is your place!”

“I am from out of town, but have attended multiple Carlos seminars and also had the opportunity to train with him in Destin. His depth of knowledge is amazing and his delivery is impeccable. I will continue to train with Carlos at every opportunity I have.”

“Carlos is one of the most kindest, considerate and generous people I know. He is smart and knows his craft. He has dedicated his life by excelling in his passion of Jiu Jitsu always with a smile, sharing his skillset training others. If I lived in Destin, I would go nowhere else. You get what you give. Rock on Carlos!”

“Had a wonderful experience while attending the Gracie gym on vacation. Staff and students put a lot love and effort the care in his place. Mr. Diaz and everyone were very welcoming. I would definitely re-attend, the next Destin vacation. Coach Carlos was very knowledgeable and takes a interest in anyone who takes his class.”

“Great place to learn Gracie Jiu Jitsu, Carlos Diaz is excellent (4th degree Gracie Jiu Jitsu Black Belt) at explaining moves and positions to new students as well as the more advanced students, wonderful place to learn. At this dojo you don’t have to wait 10 to 12 months to start rolling, when instructor Diaz thinks you are ready you can start rolling,(sparring with other students under the supervision of Diaz) you do not have to wait months possibly a year to start testing the moves you learn in class, it is one thing to learn a move, but very different to apply under resistance from another student, or you can choose not to roll at all, as rolling takes place at the end of class. The standard belt system is used here, which i like, white, blue, purple, brown, black, very traditional, Muay Thai is taught here as well to give you a striking component that Gracie Jiu Jitsu does not offer. Best place I think to learn and test your Gracie Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai.”
