“My two boys, 12 and 10, have been attending almost a year in the "Bully Proof" program. It's helped them in so many ways. Their instructor Jesse does a great job keeping the kids engaged with the training. The facility itself is always clean and neat as well. Highly recommend Jesse if you're interested in learning Gracie Jiu-jitsu. ***update*** both kids are both still going and are getting so much out of the program. And the fact that they both look forward to going now is awesome.”

“I've been training at Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Minot since it opened. My youngest also signed up and he's been enjoying the Bullyproof & Black Belt class. Even with construction still on going, Jesse does a great job keeping the areas & mats really clean. The overall atmosphere is pretty friendly even when the other students are constantly trying to choke me out. I definitely would recommend this gym for anyone looking for a place to train Jiu-Jitsu at. I'm not a paid spokesperson but maybe I should be...”

“I was very hesitant about joining a martial arts class. I am not very physical and have never trained before and I was worried I wouldn’t be able to keep up, and that I would embarrass myself. Jesse and Hannah, the instructors of the Women Empowered course are so amazing at making me feel comfortable in class. They show each move multiple times, don’t mind and even encourage questions, and are willing to work with me when I ask for modifications until I’m strong enough to do the full move. I’ve taken 4 classes now and I’m so excited I joined and have stuck with it! ALSO the restroom there is stocked with anything you might need. Period supplies, spray deodorant, and even extra hair ties! The little things like that make it feel so welcoming! They acknowledge that their students have lives and may be in a rush and forgot a ponytail and so they have extras right there. Such a small gesture that means so much!!!”

“I was hesitant to start up because I don’t particularly enjoy grappling and I’m competitive. The instructor and classmates brought me on board smoothly and the flexibility of class offerings makes the practicing work for my busy family. The instructor’s ability to compete hard and encourage others to do the same while still connecting even with the youngest kids is really remarkable. He sets a good example for my young man. It’s early in the material for me, but the Gracie method is broken down very well into a logical and practical progression so I feel like I understand the path to proficiency.”

“This has been so good for our kids. They’ve gained confidence and skill, and I appreciate that they are learning self-defense moves rather than kicking or punching. Great group of teachers. Highly recommend.”
