“I cannot recommend Coach Matt and his team enough at Gracie Jiu Jiutsu North Peoria! They are amazing! My son is 5 and we started him here to learn self defense but he has learned so much more than that. He’s made so many friends and has been learning valuable lessons like how to respect others and our community, good manners, etc. If you’re hesitating on putting your kid in Jiu Jitsu, bring them in and they’ll instantly be welcomed by the class and coach Matt! “I have trained in martial arts pretty much my entire life. Beginning in 1978. The one sign i look for of a great instructor is passion, then skill. Coach Matt has that and more. Great teachers make the classes fun and are always making sure everyone is learning in a safe environment. The Gracie bjj program is extremely detailed, and probably the easiest system to learn. Great people here too. I Highly recommend!”

“I wanted my girls to start a jiu jitsu program for all of the benefits that it has to offer. I couldn't have found a better place to begin. Coach Matt is so down to earth and kind. He's passionate about his craft and brings nothing but encouragement and positivity to the class. He truly cares about each student and my girls have had a wonderful time there.
