“I am a disabled Marine Veteran who was looking for an academy that emphasizes in the roots of traditional Helio Gracie jujitsu fundamentals. I searched and called many local schools but in the end only one was friendly and informative on joining. I have been under Professor Brian O’Leary since the Covid lockdown of 2020. Brian has been a great mentor who has taught me phenomenal jujitsu mechanics but also continues to assist all of our students to grow in our Jujitsu journey. Last year I was diagnosed with Cancer due to my chemical exposure with burn pits and Professor Brian always checked on me and my continued recovery. Professor Brian makes every one feel we are in a brotherhood no matter our age or skill level. His demeanor and professionalism on how he teaches jujitsu with each student is above a level I have experienced.
