“My husband and I trained at Longman while we were visiting the island for our honeymoon. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. The gym was immaculate and keeping it clean was taken very seriously. We felt truly honored to train under Bruno Ewald and have the ability to learn from the black belts and other students in his class. You should definitely check out this gym. We felt very welcomed. Thank you, Longman Jiu-Jitsu, for the unforgettable experience!”

“Gracie Kauai Longman Jiu-Jitsu. A place with world class coaching and training.and even better people. Hands down the best kids program in Hawaii bar none. If you have a Child there is no better place to learn discipline respect and more than anything confidence. My daughter can’t stop talking about it. In an only positive non toxic encouraging environment.any child that comes here can do nothing but succeed and thrive. Bringing shy kids out of their shells and into outgoing positive happy kids. An environment where not only kids but adults also succeed by achieving new short term and long term goals. With Bruno and his multi coaching staff no one will ever feel left behind or forgotten. Anyone who trains here is family.”

“Professor Bruno was very knowledgeable and taught great practical techniques. There were about 20 friendly killers in his Monday night class. Lots of upper belts and his white belts are tough too. Will definitely train here again next vacation”

“Every time I come to Kauai on holiday, I do some drop-in’s at Longman. They always welcome me with open arms, both students and instructors alike. They provide a safe, challenging & fun school whether you come for a class or an open mat session. I highly recommend them. Their facility is always clean and fresh and their tees and gear are superior to many. These guys nail it on every level. Respect!”

“If you’re visiting the north shore of Kauai and you train, you better stop in at Longman Jiu-Jitsu. Incredibly welcoming gym for all levels. Did Friday 6pm no-gi with Reef and then came back the following morning for Saturday Open Mat. This will be the first place I go anytime I’m back on Kauai. Bonus: After training, fuel up with some açaí or a smoothie at North Shore Bowls which is in the same parking lot.”
