“I want to highlight Coach David and the Thai-Jitsu/MMA program at the Fresno location. Coach David has been a great addition to Grappling Zone. His curriculum is fun, engaging, and challenging. He is knowledgeable about mixed martial arts and various combat sports. He trains daily to achieve his personal goals and often competes against other practitioners outside of his time as an instructor. He truly lives the MMA/combat sports lifestyle. That is something I appreciate about Coach David. His teachings come from real experience and he instills his knowledge into the students. Since training with him, my confidence, knowledge, athleticism and skills have all have increased. David’s teaching style great. He’s patient, explains everything well, gives students great feedback, and often even participates in class and trains with us. I always look forward to coming to class and training with him. I always get a good workout in and have fun, even if I’m getting tossed around or getting punched in the face. I’m 100% confident that class is going to be great because class is always great.”

“Ever since Grappling Zone has taken over classes from Rising Sun Karate I've loved the direction we have been going in. Coach David is a great instructor and explains the curriculum very well. He does a great job of connecting the lessons and having them flow together week by week. Class is always engaging and fun, learning different techniques and transitioning into the style we are currently practicing has been great. I look forward to coming to every class and what we'll learn every week.”
