“My younger brother and I recently went to a trial class this past Friday and it was great. Mike, the instructor, was super friendly, welcoming, and supportive. The students were very nice and friendly as well. The place itself was clean and is in a very good location. My brother and I got a membership here the same day. Overall would recommend 10/10.”

“I’m truly blessed to have found this Gym. Hani is a fantastic coach with strong drive and ambition to make his students 1% better every day. This gym is unlike others. Hani is very technical and breaks things down to bite size pieces for it to be easily digested and understood. Hani is motivated everyday to help his students improve. The gym is very clean and all students are humble and welcoming. Hani will work with you on your specific goals whether it is training for a competition, improving self defense/ fitness, or just trying to master the art. I strongly recommend this gym to anyone.”

“This is an honest review and would be quite helpful to newbies. A complete beginner and non athletic but with great potential to be :) I would say the guys Hani and Mike are really great guys. I connected more with Hani but I don’t think he teaches adult classes anymore. I can say some of the students there were extremely helpful the ones that have been there a while. This is honest and I’m no way bashing but I did not really connect with the lead instructor Mike. His communication skills are not quite up to par, I think he may be younger than me I’m in my late 30s. But it was kind of hard getting his attention or starting a conversation with him, im an older female in the class and probably the only one, every time I go but he tends to go to the younger ones and lingers in that area a bit. Even getting help from him was like I was bothering him in a way. He seemed to pick favorites and stick with the ones that have been there. When asking a specific question he would reply with “I’m not sure I’m not a computer” ummm not a professional response and it was a legitimate question about trying out the same franchise in another location where they used to frequent, so it’s not like he didn’t have knowledge about that topic. It was a dismissive response. I’m more observant of those things because I’m an instructor myself so when a student asks you a question that wasn’t a professional way to deal with it. So my experience with Mike wasn’t the best being a newbie. I had to cancel due to that I didn’t feel like I “fit” in with the vibe. However I’d love to pursue my ju jitsu journey but at a place where I feel acknowledged without the cliques. Overall experience was ok and I loved some of the guys and gals sparring with me I learned a little bit could learn more at a professional vibe with the instructor.”

“My experience at Guerrilla I’d say has been great! I enjoy everyone I meet at the gym, including the instructor Mike. It’s a great environment to grow your Jiu Jitsu skills! I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to do Bjj!!”
