“I was always thinking of putting my kids into some form of MMA training to learn skills and assist in their behavior. I tried recreational sports and, all though they are fun and burn their energy, there is no discipline or control. In one of these events, I made friends with one of the parents, Taylor, and we eventually spoke about Hibiscus. He told me he was a student and that his kids are as well. He explained how his kids are better behaved from the discipline achieved through the classes and how they are more confident than before. My wife and I debated over what you'd expext, lol. After a couple of months of discussing the topic, we decided that we'd give it a shot... We tried the week long, free classes to see how my boys would like it, which was nice cause who gives anything free nowadays, right? I was introduced to Professor Orlando, who is one of the coolest and most genuine person you can meet. He is knowledgeable, patient and really knows how to teach all comers. He's always around if there's ever any question or concerns. Gabby and Fernando are the main instructors that teach my children. They're phenomenal instructors! They have the perfect balance that make the classes fun enough to keep the kids engaged and at the same time teaching valuable self discipline skills that can be applied in everyday life. The training facility is clean and modern with pleanty of sitting space to watch your children train. I also want my kids to learn this skill set, cause to me, it's like learning to read, write or do math and should be treated as such. Sometimes your loved ones may be put in situations that you cant help them in and I'd feel a lot more confident in them knowing this skillset. Although other martial arts are cool with all the kicks and punches, facts are, that most fights end up on the ground. So why not learn this and get to the point? Just like learning anything... patience, practice and dedication are required. Just like at school, if you can apply it to this, then you will learn a skill that no one can ever take away from you. Finally, I dont force my children to go here, they want to be here, and that says a lot. I can't thank them enough for the immediate results that I am seeing and I'm excitedly looking forward to their journey ahead. I'm glad that we joined the family. Thank you, guys!”

“A few months ago, I joined this gym as a new student, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience so far. As someone completely new to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, I was a bit nervous stepping onto the mats for the first time, but from the moment I walked in, the environment was welcoming, and the entire team— the professor, coaches and the other gym members—were so respectful and encouraging. “My 14 year old son has been doing karate since he was 5. He recently joined Hibiscus, in addition to karate, and is really enjoying the classes. His karate Sensei has even commented seeing a difference in his sparring and grappling at the dojo. All of the coaches at Hibiscus are great and make the classes fun and engaging.
