Explore Jiu Jitsu Techniques“This gym was incredibly welcoming from the moment I walked through the door. I had the pleasure of taking a trial fundamentals class taught by Joey Meador. He was personable, genuine, very knowledgeable and made the entire class and interaction even better. I was very impressed with the other students and how they made me feel welcome and were eager to come roll with the “new guy” and partner with me. Albeit sore today, I am hooked and will be signing up and can’t wait for more!”
“I can't say enough good things about this gym. I'm new to Jiu Jitsu, and the vibe here has been really really good. The coaches are patient and fun and thoughtful, and the members themselves are all really friendly. I think the best part about the gym is the focus on learning new skills and being always curious about the next thing we can improve on. Love it!”
“I dropped in for a class at the Beaverton location while on vacation, and was very impressed with how welcoming everyone was- from the staff to the members themselves. You can tell they have a very strong community fostered by an amazing coaching staff that cares very deeply for their members. I will 100% go out of my way to drop in again next time I’m in the state!”
“I’ve been going to this Jiu Jitsu academy for a little over two years now. The coaches are dope, the community is swag, and the facilities are always so well kept and clean. This place hits! If you’re on the fence about attending your class, take the plunge!”
“I had a great time training here until an incident in which a man captured my wrist between his legs with my other arm pinned so I had to literally touch his testicles in order to tap. I didn't realize that I was going to end up touching his testicles by moving my hand. I forgot to yell "tap." Making someone touch your testicles is not a BJJ move. It's not okay to grope someone at BJJ becaue you heard that they work as a stripper.”
