“Very professional staff. I had my two boys try the 1 week free trial not knowing what to expect and now they look forward to going back making friends and learning the sport. I would highly recommend letting your kids try this place out. I believe Island Jiu Jitsu will build you kids confidence and give them one heck of a work out at the same time.”

“Island Jiu Jitsu has been an amazing experience for my 6-year-old! He just finished his first week of classes and he absolutely loves it. The coaches are fantastic with kids—encouraging, patient, and great at making learning fun. The classes are the perfect balance of structure and play, keeping him active three times a week while helping him build confidence and discipline. It’s also a great way for him to socialize and learn the fundamentals of Jiu Jitsu in a positive, supportive environment. Highly recommend for any parent looking for a top-notch kids' program in Muskegon!”

“I truly am inspired every time I get to meet and talk to team members at island. Coach Nick has a culture that encourages everyone to be themselves without fear of being judged. The team members were so nice and friendly. To add, the facility is clean, well designed with mat space other gyms wish they had. If you are looking for a martial art like Jiu-Jitsu. You should check out this place, I’m beyond impressed. Has many classes to offer for you and your family to attend. Lastly, Nick also offers his own personal touch for social Fridays including some tasty food and drinks. Jack of all trades!!! Thanks Coach Nick. Definitely will be back. 100percent”

“As a new business owner in Jiujitsu. Coach Nick has been very supportive and helpful. He truly wants to just spread the love of Jiu-Jitsu and make a positive impact to his community. I was able to instruct in one of the classes. I was impressed on the way the students were so into gaining knowledge from the class.
