“Making it up as I type, to the tune of Kung Fu Fighting...Everybody is doin' jiu jitsu, it's the art where no one hits you, and people are pretty nice to you, so you don't end up in the ICU, but you get to fight some too bro, that's why they call it Sumo, and no you don't get to have bagels, but you do do Judo... 😃 And then at home they can do combat jiu jitsu, it's the art where yes they hit you.....⚔️ But seriously, it's been helping my 5 year old and 3 year old girls in so many ways. They even know how to fall better now, which at their age, is vital. They look like little animals, doing all of their "playing" and "games" but it is actually teaching them such precise skills that help them know how to have body awareness, reaction times, good motor skills and poised human interactions interactions. All kinds of cool things happen when their little bodies get to do what they were made to do and be aware of the power that is in them and others. It's an art, it's a science, no it's super ninja speed! We so appreciate their Coach Paul and how he helps to shape our little ninjas! They also integrate mentors from other areas who add splashes of expertise and kind tips, Josh Murdock was one of them. Jiu-Jitsu Outlet: They are truly the best and just what we hoped for for our little Peaceful Evanburg Warriors (P.E.W.s) 🙂 The Ozarks are a better place because we have these outlets here. I will add a side note, being that it is The Bible Belt, we have found that it does not need to be 'either/or' when it comes to strengthening your own inner heaven and peace, when Jesus said, "The kingdom of God is within you/in your midst" we find that that whatever helps our children conquer their own fights within and without helps them find that heaven and peace within, and oftentimes the best place to achieve this is in a place where you might least expect it, but we see that Jiu Jitsu helps their little lights shine in ways that they can't always get without that arena to let their little souls explore and let their bodies begin to realize all that they are capable of achieving. It is a transcendent experience for them and it is good to see!”
