This place is so amazing! I've trained Jiu Jitsu for 7 years all over the world and I've never seen a facility quite like this. It's beautiful! To me, it has been more than just a Martial Arts School. It has been an extremely supportive community. I've manage to create so many friendships through this facility. Both my wife and I train here, and we wouldn't have it any other way. My Godson is already enrolled here and I'm already looking forward to enrolling my son when he's old enough. Rob is one of the best Jiu Jitsu instructors I've ever trained under. I can't imagine finding a better mentor for the surrounding community. See you all on the mat at Jiu Jitsu Tech!

I visited this gym while on work travel as a guest and I had a blast. They were extremely welcoming to me and my coworker as visitors and I was able to get good rolls in every time. We started class with a warm up & did some positional sparring before doing some technique & rolling. The mats were great & I loved the big open facility. The rolls, vibes, & most importantly people were wonderful. I'd recommend to anyone in the area to make this your home gym, or if you're just stopping through like we were, to stop in a get in some work! All belt levels were represented.

I have been to 4 open mats at this academy and one class. As a visiting student Professor Rob and his team of instructors are awesome. They are very welcoming to visiting students and visitors for open mat. You get quality rolls and in doing so also received some great advise regarding technique and execution. I love visiting this gym and rolling with the guys at JJ Tech. The members are great. They don't take things too serious, welcome you with open arms and fist bumps. Thank you Professor for always welcoming me. If you are in the area, don't be hesitant to drop in. If you are a prospective student and have been thinking about training BJJ, trust me. Build the courage to walk through those doors and their team will take care of the rest.

My children and I have been going to Jiu Jitsu Tech for about 6 weeks. The atmosphere here is very welcoming. Coach Rob provides great technical instruction that will help you consistently improve. This gym is very clean and well organized. This is definitely a gym for the whole family.

I went a to a total of five classes at this gym and I did not learn their true colors until I got a radial fracture in my arm from rolling with one of the instructors. For adult classes, they do not have a fundamentals class, and, although they say that you do not have to do the advanced moves, white belts still do them: I find this to be hazardous and unsafe. The instructors do not monitor the adult classes during rolling sessions to make sure everyone is safe and doing moves safely, rather they are rolling with each other and other students. My last class, an instructor informed me that I was doing a move wrong. He then performed a single leg takedown, much too hard in my opinion as I am a beginner and a 5’3 person, to which I fell and landed on my wrist, fracturing the radial bone. I understand that I did not fall properly, however, this is something they do not teach— that is to fall safely when being taken down. They were not thoughtful in their approach to my injury, of which one of the instructors, informed me on my way out that I just needed “ice.” When I approached them later that week concerning the instructor and how classes were constructed, they were angry at the instructor, however also informed me that people “break legs and arms” at this gym. I cancelled my membership, however due to the liability forms I signed at the beginning of my classes, I am now burdened with the hospital costs and inconvenience of the broken bone I acquired.
