Explore Jiu Jitsu Techniques“Our son joined the kids class tonight at Jiu Jitsu Unlimited and enjoyed himself very much. We always love doing the seminars with John DeVall he’s a great teacher and explains things very well. The gym has a great vibe, and the community is incredibly welcoming. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone looking to learn jiu-jitsu.”
“I will try to keep this short, but I cannot say enough good things about Professor John and this school. What a gem to find in the area. We lived there less than 2 years, but of the things we’ll miss, this place takes the cake. Professor John is so good with the kids, knowing exactly the right balance between having some fun but also being serious and getting the work done. The kids all seem to really respect him, and he genuinely cares about them. He also has a way of getting through to those who maybe aren’t naturally motivated. All 3 of our kids now can’t get enough of BJJ, all thanks to Professor John. Highly recommend this place!”
“EDIT- Well according to Google it has been 7 months since I made this review. I have a few more training hours under my belt, but I still feel the same way about Jiu Jitsu & Kick Boxing Unlimited. I enjoy going as much as I can for the camaraderie and the physical training. My youngest daughter has joined and loves the youth classes on Mondays and Wednesdays. She always has her bag ready to go and her responsibilities taken care of so that she can go. I definitely recommend trying this out. Professor John is always happy to talk to people walking off the street to answer any questions that you have. I am a complete newbie to Martial Arts and found them through a veteran's foundation called We Defy Foundation. I contacted the academy through their online portal and had a timely response that answered my questions. I stopped in a few days later and talked with the Professor, John Devall. He took the time to speak with me and managed the warmup of his class. He got me setup for Jiu Jitsu class and then he spoke to me on a personal level and I really appreciated it. I attended my first class in the evening today and Professor Devall was coaching it. The class was split into different segments that flowed very well and were managed so that it all came together with out you really being able to notice (unless you were nervous and half freaking out like I was). It was an Intermediate No Gi but everyone worked with me, explained positions, basics and safety to me. They answered my questions (sometimes a couple times in a row) and made it informative and challenging. It was a great experience all the way through and I have to say that there wasn't a low point for me. Definitely recommend for a person looking to explore a martial art and don't know where to start. They all made me feel welcome (and each person literally welcomed me and introduced themselves). The location has enough parking and is at a location that has easy access from Gordon Drive. Inside is clean and has plenty of space for the training. There are 2 separate areas to change if needed and plenty of storage space for gear.”
“I am a new Jui-jitsu mother and I wasn't sure what to expect in the beginning. My husband and daughters love training here and they all have different attitudes and abilities. This was one of the reasons for my reservation, but the professor has got thru to each of them and is teaching them so much. Professor John is able to get to each one because he doesn't use a cookie cutter approach. He talks to everyone in a way to help them better themselves as an athlete and person. I really love how he takes time to focus on life skills (respect, listening, fitness, compassion, self defense, continuing education, and so much more) and not just the martial art. I would recommend Jiu-Jitsu Unlimited to anyone looking for self-defense, fitness, a martial art or helping a child grow and mature outside of the home. I can't thank John and the family here, enough for everything they have done for our family.”
“I stopped in as a guest from Omaha to get some Jiu Jitsu training in. They treated me like family and the instructor was incredibly nice and knowledgeable. As a brown belt who’s been training for 13 years I can easily recommend this gym for anyone interested in Jiu Jitsu at all levels.”
