“I came across Jorge Pereira's Jiu Jitsu school by chance while visiting South Beach for a week. I have done some martial arts in the past, but Jiu Jitsu was new for me. I took 3 private lessons with Jorge mid-day and then went along in the evening to train in class. Jorge has amazing credentials and is a great teacher. In our private sessions he patiently showed different techniques with knowledge and attention to detail that comes with 40-plus years in art, we covered a lot of material but throughout I felt very safe as progressed through the exercises. The other students in the evening training sessions were very welcoming and eager to help.
