Explore Jiu Jitsu Techniques“This academy goes beyond just jiujitsu, we are a diverse family that our leader coach Vo has guided with his teachings and life lessons with a basis and foundation directed by God. All students are different and our leader has the ability and gift that God gave him to being able to understand and help us solve our problems while working with his own, from day one he makes us feel welcome to this group of people. I will always be grateful for what he has done with our family especially with my daughter Janierys, not only training but also mental and spiritual, we arrived at the Quad cities without knowing anyone and God put us on his path and we are more than grateful for that. In kingdom warriors you will learn the beautiful art of jiujitsu in a family and dynamic environment with a leader who has the knowledge, discipline and passion to lead you to access your maximum power so that you can apply it in sport and your daily life.”
“I am a student under Ngoan Vo for 7 months now. I could not ask for a better teacher. He is a man of God that truly looks out for each and every one of his students. Whether you obtain physical injuries from training, or mental/spiritual ones from day to day life, he is there to look after you. I have learned so much being a student under him in 7 months it is crazy how far I’ve come. My friends and family have noticed my progress in both my muscles and being a man of God. One of my favorite memories would have to be me, being the stupid new student I was, getting my arm injured from training wrong. Ngoan (Teach) then felt out my arm to make sure no tremendous injuries were sustained, and gave me some personal training on how to make it better and recover fast. My first day at practice I knew this would become my next family. I was instantly greeted by one of the younger students (very honorably if I may add) and was very kind to ask if he could put away my shoes, which is VERY humble which shows what Teach is all about. He wants ALL of his students to grow up to be wonderful men and women. I love going on tournament trips and seeing how he interacts with the younger kids class. He is affectionately called Teach/Teacher and they all look up to him for wisdom and advice. He has truly made a wonderful relationship with all of his students. Now, many of us have been blessed with a childhood that wasn’t rough and tumble. Therefore it may be a bit difficult to understand that Teach is looking out for you no matter what, even if it seems like he’s being hard on you. He’s hard on his students because no one else will be. Because of Teach I have been able to grow a family from just a bunch of strangers that throw me around and choke me out every day. I couldn’t be happier when I’m at practice, it feels like it gives me a sense of purpose when I’m able to train to be my best self.”
“Extremely professional school, as a current student who has attended now over a year I feel the teacher has phenomenal skills and the ability to properly train most people. He does a great job at maintaining, protecting and expanding the community that we have as a school of jiu-jitsu, which mostly everyone values immensely. I’ve really appreciated the extra amount of time and effort he gives us as students by not only teaching us amazing jiu-jitsu but sharing his own life lessons as a man of Religion and BJJ Practitioner. The school itself has always maintained a high level of cleanliness, him along with a handful of dedicated students typically will spend the late night after the afternoon class cleaning the facility. If you are someone who’s planning on attending for the first time, as a courtesy to others you train with I’d highly recommend you cleanse thoroughly before coming to class, the facility also has showers if you might not have time to do so beforehand so that’s always been very helpful. I am an adult but as one of the more experienced students I like to help with the children’s class sometimes and can vouch for the teachers excellent training with kids as well. With that said, parents should know that the teacher does his best to keep the kids safe in training as well as making sure they’re staying on task to prevent distractions to others during the lesson. And as a reminder as to what I mentioned earlier and from someone who trains regularly, it’s very disturbing and distracting to train with someone who’s is unclean, so I’ll again highly recommend for the courtesy of others try to get a quick wash in if you can before class, the other students will appreciate it a lot.”
“Excellent learning environment. My daughter loves class, she is progressing in her jujitsu skills and learning about teamwork and sportsmanship. There is a great sense of community at the school, the teacher is very good at meeting kids where they are at and helping them grow”
“This school is well rounded with teaching discipline, techniques and skills. We are proud to be a part of this academy and have seen so much growth and success with our son’s Jiu Jitsu passion. Highly recommend if you want to learn correct techniques and etiquette for this sport.”
