I am so impressed every time I see all the kids fight. My one son, who has some developmental delays, has been growing so amazingly and Professors have been wonderful with him. “Professors Milton and Melissa Regis are as world class as you’re gonna find on Long Island, which is along with Southern California, the capital of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in the US. I personally have been training in the Kioto System for many years now and my children have been for 3 years this fall. I can’t begin to express the confidence Kioto has instilled in my children. The camaraderie at Kioto is like nothing I have experienced, from HS sports to fraternal organizations. Kioto is our home away from home and I consider all my training partners family!!”

“Kioto is such a great family oriented BJJ studio. Milton and Melissa are wonderful, informative instructors for my 4 year old. They really get through to the class in a way that these little kids understand and are able to apply their lessons effectively. “This is by far the best Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school on Long Island. A traditional school focused on developing technical skill through hard work and discipline (belts are earned not given), but always welcoming and warm. A heartfelt hello and a message of happy birthday are standard fare at the school. Reasonably priced, even the children's classes are taught by 6th degree black belt, Professor Milton Regis, a 2x Masters IBJJF World Champion! Since we started at Kioto we have seen our daughter's BJJ skills improve and her self confidence increase. I would highly recommend Kioto to anyone looking to train in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.”
