“My son, Dj and I, traveled from York Pa to visit KOA. We were welcomed into the school by everyone. Usually when we visit other schools, we encounter some students who want to " prove " something because we are from a different team/school. There was none of that here at Koa. Professor Kelly taught a very informative class. His instruction was very clear and concise, mixed with personal experiences to emphasize the teachings. After the period of instruction was over, we enjoyed and "open mat" environment where EVERYONE wanted to roll with me and DJ. Every roll i had the pleasure of entertaining was just that, fun smooth and entertaining. The gym facility is HUGE and very clean. all of the students are respectful and polite. I did notice this school has a very Marine Corps vibe to it by the way it operates. That really made me feel at home. Professor Kelly is a great instructor, as well as all of his coaches. Any question i had was happily answered. I cant wait to come back down again. This visit was well worth the 3 hour drive.”
