“For years, my whole family and I have been going to this gym, and it has been amazing. We are all in the Muay Thai program and have moved up through the ranks, making friends who feel like family. The program has really helped us grow in the discipline. The tough training, along with the supportive atmosphere, has taught us dedication and hard work. Our instructors are very knowledgeable and always encourage us to do our best. The gym is always very clean, showing how much the management cares about keeping a safe and healthy place for everyone. “Honestly, the staff were nice but the program has issues. I signed up for Muay Thai. You start each class by jumping rope for five whole minutes. There was zero basic skills taught. New students were thrown right into professional fighters during sparring. The instructors obviously had favorites. Here's one tip instructors, ASSIGN THE PARTNERS. I would be standing there while people walked past me until I was the last guy left. If the teacher had been more proactive that wouldn't have happened every time. Also, teach an "intro to" class before throwing people in the mix with seasoned veterans. I'll never return to this place.”

“Legacy is an excellent training facility in a great location. I’ve been fortunate to train at many dojos & gyms around the country & currently train at a top-notch gym. I was in town for three nights. I called the academy a few weeks prior to my visit after visiting their website. I could tell, from my initial phone call, this was the place where I’d find great training with legit coaching & awesome training partners. Legacy exceeded my expectations Legacy has excellent coaches, members & very pleasant staff. The training is superior to most, & they make you feel very comfortable. Kru Pierce is awesome, a true professional who focuses on you! He is knowledgeable about his art, as his passion for your success is very apparent. Whether you are a beginner or seasoned martial artist, you will find Legacy is very comfortable & challenging in many ways. The stand-up, grappling & overall vibe they offer provides a variety for anyone who wants to learn self-defense, spar & meet friendly people. “Our child has been learning BJJ at Legacy BJJ for more than 2 years now. This BJJ academy is very family friendly. The owners and professors/coaches are professional and kind, and they care about safety, sportsmanship, respect, and efforts! I remember vividly the first time at their intraschool tournament, before the start, the professor spoke publicly to all adults present, about the proper conduct to watch a Jiu jitsu match. It’s a great reminder that we respect each other regardless of the outcome. It’s a positive place for children and adults. We highly recommend. In addition to offering high quality martial art classes, the owners have a heart to the community. They routinely fundraise and donate to charities. They provide the space to a FREE women self defense class on Friday nights. I highly recommend any woman (16+) to check it out.”
