Had my first class here today and it was an awesome experience. I was a little nervous walking in since I’m completely new to Jiu Jitsu, but everyone was super friendly and welcoming from the start. Norman took the time to explain things clearly, and the people I trained with were patient and helpful. Even though it was my first day, I already felt like I was learning a lot. The atmosphere was laid-back but focused, and you can tell the people here really care about helping each other get better. Definitely glad I showed up today. Looking forward to coming back and continuing the journey. Signed up on the spot. If you’re thinking about trying Jiu Jitsu, this place is a great spot to start.

I’ve been visiting Logos since moving to CO Springs back in February, as it was recommended to me by my former professor, Murilo Santana. I can confidently say, this place has high-level, world class professors and students who are always ready and willing to put in the work. The training is always intense and you will walk away with something gained every time. The people have been welcoming, safe and respectful, and it’s a bonus that there are so many AMAZING women! Women’s class (and other classes) with Elizabeth Liera is top notch and there is a strong connection between all the gals. Learning from professors Michael Liera Jr. and Elizabeth Liera is something you don’t want to miss out on.

I’ve trained at several Jiu Jitsu gyms over the years, and this place stands out in all the best ways. The facility is always clean and well-maintained — the mats, bathrooms, and common areas are spotless, which speaks volumes about how much pride the owners take in their space. The instruction is top-tier. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned competitor, the coaches are incredibly knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and genuinely care about each student’s progress. They break down techniques clearly and are always open to questions or helping you troubleshoot positions. What really sets this school apart, though, is the environment. It’s welcoming, supportive, and has a strong sense of community. Everyone trains hard, but there’s no ego — just a group of people who love Jiu Jitsu and want to help each other get better. If you’re thinking about trying Jiu Jitsu or looking for a new place to train, I couldn’t recommend this school more.

I recently made the switch to this gym and couldn't be happier with the decision. Everyone is super welcoming here. Whether you are a just getting into Jiu Jitsu or are a long time practitioner and competitor, this place can provide the proper level of training. The class instruction is very simple to follow and often focuses more on key details that improve your overall game. The floating mats make a huge difference in terms of injury prevention, especially when starting from a standing position. They are an excellent confidence builder during wrestling drills and sparing as the impacts on both yourself and your partner are drastically reduced. Every gym should have these! Lastly, I felt like it's definitely worth mentioning that Logos is very clean. Mats, floors, bathrooms, and the rest of the facility are spotless. They take pride in hygiene and it shows. I highly recommend coming to check it out or dropping in for a class or open mat if you are from our of town.

The culture at this gym is truly 5 stars, and the instructors are experienced, technical, articulate, and attentive. There are classes and time slots for every level of experience. If you live in the Denver area, and are either curious about starting Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or looking to join a different gym to continue your practice, I would highly recommend coming by and training at Logos!
