“Was fortunate to train here while traveling this week. I contacted Steve the owner about drop ins, and he was awesome. I trained a No Gi class and then a Gi class the following evening. This place is top tier. I travel a lot for work and drop in at bunches of academies, and this was by far one of the best ones I’ve trained at. The quality of instruction was top notch, and the teaching format gives you the chance to drill and do positional games to really hammer home the concepts. As a purple belt, I love that because all my reps become high quality during positional games. He also gave special attention to white belts during the class period as well, having them on one half of the mat working fundamentals. The members there are incredibly talented and also welcoming. Some very, very tough rolls in that room. If you compete, can’t recommend this spot enough. The gym itself is super clean. Clean bathrooms and shower area. There are also private changing spaces, which is a nice touch. Would give this spot 6 stars if I could.”
