“Our family LOVES Maracaba BJJ! Everyone is very welcoming and accommodating. The kids class coaches are very patient and thorough with the kiddos. My 6 year old enjoys it, and has made tons of friends in the 2 and a half years of training at Maracaba. My husband and I also train, and we really love it. The gym is clean and very well maintained. Anyone curious about jiu jitsu, should definitely stop by Maracaba!”

“I’ve been going to Maracaba BJJ for almost 2.5 years now and would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to get into shape or start their jiu jitsu journey. There are several jiu jitsu gyms closer to my house and I gladly drive further in order to train here. Everyone at the gym is very welcoming and I’ve built some awesome friendships through training here. I couldn’t be happier with the level of coaching that we get from Andre – the improvements that I’ve seen in my jiu jitsu over the last 2.5 years wouldn’t be possible without him.”

“Maracaba BJJ is an outstanding place to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Whether you’re a beginner or advanced practitioner, the instruction is tailored for your training needs in the 10am and 5:30pm mixed level classes as well as the 6:30pm fundamental class. Professor André is one of the most intentional and thoughtful instructors out there, and his curriculum and execution everyday as a coach is evidence of that. André Maracaba is also very deliberate about the upkeep of the gym, as it is one of the most (if not the most) cleanly Jiu Jitsu gyms in the valley. Cameron Chaffee is a phenomenal assistant coach as well, he is constantly learning great habits and evolving as a coach and athlete under professor André on a daily basis. If you’re seeking a gym to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at any level under a fantastic coaching staff, this is the gym for you.”
