“Simply wonderful! My 7 year-old son has been enjoying jiu jitsu at Sensei Sam's for the past year. Sensei Sam and his instructors are fabulous: caring and friendly, but also dedicated to teaching the kids the appropriate techniques and great life skills as well (such as kindness, practical sense, safety).”

“I have been training jiu jitsu for over twenty years and let me say the following. I highly recommend the instruction of Sam Marcellini to anyone wanting to learn both the basic and advanced nuances of jiu jitsu. He has an expert understanding of both basic and advanced techniques that will benefit even the most experienced in jiu jitsu. His focus and attention to the most important details is excellent.”

“I’ve been training with Sensei Marcellini for quite some time now. He is the best teacher I have ever had. I am learning at an extremely fast rate even though I am an older student. He breaks down the steps into small chunks of information so the students can digest it easily. He’s the best martial arts instructor there is!”

“Marcellini's Martial Arts Academy is a genuinely special place. The lead instructor, Sam Marcellini, is an incredibly skilled martial artist as well as a gifted teacher (the two don't always go hand in hand!). Furthermore, the facilities are always clean, and the atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming. I really can't recommend it enough.”

“Summary: Marcellini’s martial arts academy is great. The instructor (Sam Marcellini) is amazing. Training is very comprehensive and well-rounded. If you have had a bad experience with a school or instructor, or if you want to learn self-defense, I would encourage you to come to Marcellini’s and meet Sam. Detailed Review for more information. Instructor: I really enjoy Marcellini’s martial arts academy. I’ve trained at over a dozen different martial arts places across the country, and I can say without doubt, that Sam is the best instructor -hands down he is 100% a tier above other instructors. He trains every class and is always on the mats with the students. Sam is approachable and makes everyone feel welcome, he has a great energy and makes everyone at ease. Sam has a martial arts philosophy that is calm, cool, and collected - he reflects that in a very smooth manner. Facilities: The Dojo is always clean and well maintained. Plenty of room for training and exercise. Air conditioned, clean bathrooms, as well as a comfortable area for spectating and viewing. Atmosphere: Welcoming and laid back. Beginner friendly. Students: I’ve been around a little over a year at Marcellini’s and I have experienced zero mat bullies. Students are very friendly and welcoming. There are some really good students. Most students appear to be better at their level than compared to other schools. Price: Marcellini’s is priced accurately for the geographic region and caliber of instruction. The price of training is fair for the quality and caliber of the school. You are really getting an expert level of training coming from a Gracie jujitsu background. There are no hidden fees or belt-testing fees. Training: Sam teaches (self-defense) Brazilian Jujitsu and kick-boxing; probably the best combination you could want for martial arts, because it makes you strong standing and on the ground. Lineage: Gracie lineage - Royce Gracie.”
