“Great BJJ gym just outside Carlisle Barracks. Professor Mattos is an outstanding instructor of Brazilian jiujitsu who cares deeply about his students. He and his team made me feel like part of the family during my short 3 month stay in the area. The gym also has a large number of skilled students who can help push advanced practitioners to the next level. I learned a lot in that limited amount of time. Given the welcoming environment and the emphasis on safe (but effective) learning, this would be a great place to start BJJ for those who have never tried it before. I highly recommend.”
