“This place is amazing, especially for beginners to Jiu- Jitsu. I’ve been attending for 3 months and I can attest to the effectiveness of Mastery Jiu Jitsu’s Combat Basics course for breaking down key self defense skills in an measured, engaging way that keeps motivation high and learning continually advancing. I went to several Jiu Jitsu academies in the area and even as an athletic guy who regularly attends CrossFit, I was overwhelmed by the “trial by fire” approach they had for beginners. I eventually chose Mastery because of how much thought they put into breaking down a complex martial art into bite size learning modules. And I can’t say enough for the recorded videos that let me review the material before class and after to practice and consolidate my learning. This academy also has an active community of really supported and experienced members who really respect the art and make you feel welcome. Finally, the new facility is amazing with sprawling clean mats, lots of natural light and tons of free parking. If you’re new to Jiu Jitsu and want an effective way to start the journey, definitely give Mastery Jiu Jitsu a try. You won’t be disappointed!”
