“Having never trained in Jiu Jitsu before, it was a rather intimidating to walk in to a gym, at age 42 and start training. Looking back a year and a half later, it was one of the best decisions of my life. Although I have a long way to go on this journey, I'm in much better physical shape than I have ever been, and I could not have found a better school and more patient and knowledgable instructor than Coach Emmanuel Martinez. Coach Manny has an ability to explain minute details and movements that are sometimes missed. The facilities are very well taken care of and maintained. Great instructors for kids class and beginner and advanced classes are available.I could not recommend, more emphatically, any other place to learn the art of Jiu Jitsu than Modern Jiu Jitsu.”
