“A review of Molinaro Jiu Jitsu from a parent of an 18 year old purple belt and a 7 year old 2 stripe white belt. We’ve been around the country and have visited many BJJ schools. If you have younger children that you’re interested in introducing jiu jitsu to, I can’t imagine a better environment and school to learn in. The instructors are top notch and incredibly patient with the kids. They seem to have a guard forward philosophy which in my opinion is where the true beauty of the art and sport lies. They have the kids introduce themselves and say something about themselves to start class so that they all get somewhat acquainted and familiar with each other. They spend time introducing concepts through grappling games, something kids can really relate to, this drastically improves and increases the fun and learning curve in jiu jitsu and produces top notch competitors down the road. My older son who is a top competitive bjj purple belt enjoys training here on the weekends at their Saturday open mat. Molinaro has many advanced belts present typically and this allows him to get many competitive and technical rolls which is imperative for someone who competes at a high level. The vibe and friendliness of the instructors and students at this school is unmatched in the jiu jitsu world. If you’re an adult just starting and feeling overwhelmed or shy about starting in the art/sport, a parent who wants their kids involved and growing in confidence, or maybe you’re a seasoned practitioner and or competitor, spend your time and money here with the upmost confidence.”
