“Master Joao and Master Fred Moncaio welcomed me with open arms; all of their members are respectful and really help you feel welcome when training at their facility. Highly recommend!”
“This place is the best. Coach Joao and Fred are super helpful in teaching the various techniques and create a great learning environment. It is a real community/family feel in the gym and everyone is always very welcoming. No better place to train and very happy I started my BJJ journey off here.”
“I've had the pleasure of knowing the Moncaio Brothers since about 2018. They have always welcomed me in with open arms. Everyone there is family and They push you according to your goals all while teaching your world class BJJ. You can take with you a technical knowledge to any gym or competition and do well. Their coaching is next level and will grow your jiu-jitsu at any level whether completely fresh and looking to get in shape or looking to add jiu-jitsu to your training camp. Thank you guys for always pouring into me! Oss!”
“Great place to train for no-gi and gi and kickboxing.. I stopped in here a couple times so far. Jay and Fred are very welcoming and extremely talented with tons of competition experience and awards. From training for 7-8 years, I think the best thing about training here is they roll for the last 30-40 minutes of class (that's after a 10 minute warm up and then working 1 or 2 positions for 20 minutes). The more you roll the better you get. So you could roll back to back to back with 6 different people if you wanted. And everyone trains at a moderate 70% or so intensity so there are no big egos with people acting like they're battling for a UFC belt. Also, classes always look to be full with 20-30 people so you can train with people of all sizes and experience levels. They have a Saturday 10am no-gi class so if you're in Fort Laud for the weekend you can pay a small drop in fee to train.. Highly recommend..”
