“Drew is an incredible and very knowledgeable/experienced coach. Everyone has been so welcoming and they have created a safe and fun place to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Been here for a year and my rating has not wavered, still 10/10 would jiu jitsu again -”
“This review is past due for some time. When I travelled to Idaho, with my family on vacation I looked for a Jiu Jitsu gym and found this place. Overall, Mountain Home Jiu Jitsu has a good mix of skill and fun. Whether you're just starting out like myself drew has the knowledge to help you take your skills to the next level, Drew’s and Andrea’s gym is the place I’ll come back to every time.”
“Don’t believe the 1 star reviews, I find them super ironic to happen in a 24 hour span. This place has been great for my kid, he comes home everyday from here happy to learn more about jiu jitsu. This place is super fun for him and shows him great discipline, amazing gym 10/10”
“TLDR: MHJJ is the real deal and more! Drew is clearly an expert in his craft and is outstanding in fostering a controlled environment that cultivates learning the curriculum for children and adults! You’ll love this place! I made the mistake of training at Gracie Barra for a year in Boise and decided to see what MHJJ was about much preferred MHJJ. Drew allows everyone (adults and kids alike) to function at their own comfort level while gradually expanding that comfort level and the family-like environment he’s built of well-trained individuals reinforces such. It’s similar to any other jiu-jitsu gym, but better because of Drew’s experience and willingness to let people actually roll if they want to. Gracie Barra didn’t allow any sparring until receiving third stripe on white belt. Any child or adult who lacks any grappling experience or kinesthetic coordination can show up to MHJJ and rest assured that they’re in a reasonably safe environment. I will emphasize, COMMUNICATE ANY CONCERNS AND LEAVE ANY EGO AT THE DOOR!”
