“I had a very negative experience at this gym and would not recommend it. Hygiene: The facility was poorly maintained in terms of hygiene. There's usually hairs and trimmed fingernails in between the mats. The mats are overcrowded, and gear is scattered everywhere. I observed discriminatory and biased behavior from staff : People who are personal friends with the instructor, or are gifted in athletics, receive more hands-on training than everyone else. Even though we pay the same monthly price. I understand that favoritism and biases are a part of life. But here, it's made painfully obvious. Safety: I sustained a long-term neck injury due to a lack of proper supervision during training. The gym failed to take responsibility or offer any meaningful support afterward. I can no longer train jiu jitsu consistently because of the injury. I also received a broken rib from the Muay Thai instructor when he lost his temper during a pad session. This instructor has been corrected several times before for roughing up new guys, being a gym bully, lack of self-control, and leaving bruises on a female client. He is still allowed to teach and train. False identity: The "Muay Thai" program is an American kickboxing class guised as Muay Thai. It primarily focuses on punching and kicking. There's no emphasis on elbows, knees, clinching, or sweeping. The instructor of said class has never competed in Muay Thai and has no respect for the sport. This has been my honest experience.”
