“Amazing gym! Welcoming vibes, great facilities, knowledgeable instructors, fun culture. They have it all: grappling, striking, fitness, self defense - there is something here for everyone across all ages, genders, and skill levels. If you are thinking about coming out - you definitely should join!”
“Very friendly and welcoming gym with fun and energetic practitioners that love the sport. I stopped in for their open mat while I was in town visiting and had a great time. I would highly recommend this gym if you’re looking for a new place to train, or just stopping in if you’re visiting.”
“NIJJ is a clean and open facility. Great instructors and members are easy to get along with. Mats are always cleaned after a class. There's quite a few exercising equipment and they do have free weights available. Pricing is fair, and I like that I have 24/7 gym access. Overall, pretty cool gym and classes.”
“Fantastic gym! Everyone is incredibly friendly, there’s a great community, and the coaching is phenomenal. I’m a total beginner, and these guys go out of their way to create an environment that is welcoming and approachable. There’s also a great mix of skill level. So whether you’re a black belt or just starting out, there’s always someone to roll with. I can’t recommend this place enough. Check it out!”
“I am a new blue belt, and this week I'm traveling for my honeymoon. While passing through Sandpoint (wonderful town), I was allowed to drop into North Idaho Jiu Jitsu. I had contacted them via Instagram beforehand, as notice of a drop in is customarily a good thing, and they were very receptive to having me in for a session. When I arrived, I noticed the gym was clean, which is always a good sign. As a drop in from out of town, I was a little nervous, however everyone there was super welcoming, and very hospitable. The instructor, Gary, taught a continuation of a Kimura position I was familiar with, and added a little twist at the end which I had not previously experienced. All and all, between the clean facility, the hospitality shown, the friendly students and competent instruction, I both got some training in on my trip, and got to add to my limited repitruar thanks to a cool lesson given by Gary the instructor for this session. Would definately recommend this gym/academy for anyone in the area looking to learn and train BJJ. Thank you all for the clean and welcoming atmosphere, the good banter, and solid training. I hope I was a good ambassador for my gym, and will certainly stop by anytime I am in town down the road for more fun. Thanks again! -Ken”
