“This is my 4th School in 2 years and I couldn't happier here. Attitude free environment. I seriously have not met one problem person here. The students are so nice and so helpful. Everyone looks out for one another. The owner Marshall is the kindest and most generous man. The amount of loyalty he has to the students who show up, try hard and even stay in contact during down time is unlike anything you will see elsewhere. He is the motivating force of us all and I think we motivate him as well. Professor Perry is highly organized and knows what we are doing each day and his curriculum has a flow to it so all the pieces start fitting together as a system. I didn't experience at other places. He really embraces the Carlson Gracie and Rey Diogo fundamentals with his own twist. He whittles everything down to things that have high success and the least complicated when possible. Get on top. Real position only. Wilton is also a motivating powerhouse and is a beast at using what weight he has. He runs the conditioning and skill program that really hammers in the techniques with rates high success. Alex runs the lunch class. He is very talented and technical but is able to make the information digestible. I have only taken a few classes with him but he is great so far. Koda is often on the sides observing and knows just when to jump in and offer tips and sharing his vast experience. All these teachers are Rey Diogo Black Belts and you constantly feel Rey's and Carlson Sr.'s presence at Ocean Grown Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Mike from DSG is our occasional instructor for combatives and surviving lethal engagements. With him and his other instructors having long careers in Special Operations, you will not find another facility, curriculum and opportunity like ours. We are a team and at times it feels like family. Loyalty is King at OGBJJ. I look forward to what the future brings.”
