Onyx Jiu Jitsu

“I can’t say anything bad about Onyx Jiu Jitsu. I am visiting Colorado to visit friends and family for five weeks and needed a place to train. I had a list of 3-5 academies to go to, and Onyx was the first. I never made it to the other academies because I enjoyed training at Onyx so much. At my first class, I decided to sign up for a month, and Coach Isaiah was super nice and accommodating to my needs. Him and the Onyx family were very welcoming. The classes are a mixture of intense and fun which is what I was looking for. They’re not going to drill you where you feel this sport is life or death, but they aren’t going to be super easy on you either. It’s the perfect mix, and I HIGHLY recommend this academy if you’re looking to get increase BJJ skill sets. I even brought in my 12-year old step-son for a class, and I’ve never seen him behave and pay attention like he has in this class. He’s only done two classes before this one, and this is by far the best one for him. I wish we lived in the area for us to actually sign up and train here long term, because him and I would be going here on a daily basis. If you’re looking for an academy, look no further! Thanks for the hospitality and amazing training while I’ve been in town. If I’m ever back, this is where I’m going.”

“Great place for BJJ! The gym and team were super kind and welcoming. I have been doing JJ for a little over over a year and I get the privilege of traveling all over and I make it a point to hop into a gym to get some rolls in. This gym was overwhelmingly positive and hospitable. I learned a lot from their style of teaching and the team was very crucial in teaching me too.
