“I dropped in here for open mat while vacationing in Pismo. Really nice facility (lots to eat right next door). Totally nails the chill vibe of Pismo. Very welcoming and friendly. Coach is experienced, knowledgeable and talented. Lots of fun rolls. I will definitely drop in here again and am looking forward to checking out some of the other Paragon gyms!”

“Dropped in with my 16 year old son while visiting from Amman, Jordan. The NoGi noon class brought in some fit and experienced people on their lunch break. It was a great and friendly experience. John Marine is a very approachable and thoughtful coach, with much attention to detail when it comes to teaching. Looking to make this my spot while I’m in town.”

“I was in town for business and stopped by to see about a drop in class, Professor John was super friendly and invited me right in. I didn’t have my Gi but he was super cool about letting me jump in with shorts and a T. The class was great and the environment was friendly, if your in town or live here then stop in for a great workout. Thanks again for your hospitality Professor. Osss!”

“I was in the area travelling and decided to go to Paragon to get some training in. Really good school with a great people. John was the professor and he really spent time with all the students making the small technique adjustments. Pretty relaxed atmosphere, and the Jiu Jitsu was good. I have dropped in other places where I enjoyed the training and didn't have complaints, but I don't know if I would enjoy training as much if that was my home school. While I love where I normally train I know if I lived in the 5 cities area I would have no problem training a Paragon full time. Will be dropping in again the next time I am in the area.”

“Was in town visiting family for Christmas and wanted to practice No-gi BJJ and meet local people (I live in Denmark). Everyone was welcoming and nice to train with, the mats were clean, and the instructors were very attentive. Next Christmas I want to try their GI and Muay Thai classes as well - already excited :D!
