Park City Jiu Jitsu fits the bill. Right away the number of kids classes available made it clear their kids program is not an afterthought. Coach Mike is stern, but has a positivity and passion the kids pick up on. He expects them to work hard, and they do. The reality of competition in a combat sport is tempered by conditioning that has the students cheering and encouraging each other, creating a team atmosphere. The facility is adequate, and seems to be kept clean. There is not a lot of room to spectate, but there is enough. There is however almost no cellphone reception. If you’re looking for a program for your child that will challenge them, teach them reality tested techniques that are effective, and give them a chance to strive, you should come check it out.”
