As a former U.S. Marine with several years of civillian kung fu training under my belt from other schools in LA & Las Vegas, I can very much appreciate the value of his teaching. The fact that they also have a dedicated arnis/escrima class and regular sparring sessions really makes it a great all-round option for martial arts and self defense.
