“The instructor teaches useful and in depth techniques, makes sure what’s being taught is done safely, and doesn’t separate himself from the class during rolls and sparring activities. Great place for any level. Has kids classes now check it out”

“If you’ve done martial arts at other gyms or in other places you know there are good gyms and bad gyms. This is a good gym. It is not gimmicky, and the instructor will not try to sell you promotions or try to sell the class as something it’s not. Just come train, learn, and have a good work out. The classes have something for everyone. Matt’s approach to teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu incorporates concepts and adaptability rather than solely relying on hard and fast techniques. This allows you to find a style that works for you. Ladies, come try this if you want to build confidence, strength, mobility, and community. Parents, sign your kids up if you want them to build confidence, strength, balance, body/muscle control, and friendships.”

“Training at Pine BJJ is a blast to say the least. The instructor teaches useful and in depth techniques, makes sure what’s being taught is done safely, and doesn’t separate himself from the class during rolls and sparring activities. He’s always in the middle of the action giving advice, direction and insight. Love training here!”

“At Pine BJJ you're going to get a great instructor who is passionate about his art and very well educated with what he teaches. From the position of your posture all the way down to how to place your thumb on a grip. The facility is very clean and maintained well. Everyone is friendly and wants nothing more than to see themselves and others succeed. I recommend this gym to anyone wanting to get into Bjj and self defense.”

“I met Matt through a Police Officer that trained with me at the time and our team was invited up to cross train with the team at Pine, we gladly accepted. We had a great experience and continued to cross train from time to time. Matt is a easy going Coach and is knowledgeable while eager to learn from anyone, which is fairly common on the mats in most places. If you are looking to try something new while getting in better shape, meet new friends, and learn a lifelong skill give yourself the opportunity to do something that will change your life, go try Jiu Jitsu out you won't regret it. Also come in at any skill level and all levels of physical fitness, all are welcome. What do you have to lose? ❤️🇺🇲❤️”
