“Professor Kelly and his team really make this place worth the 5 stars. They’ve been so patient with our daughter . She has been going since she was 5 and we’ve just seen her confidence develop so much. We love it here! We moved but still make the drive because it’s that great. I love that they separate the kids by ages instead of other places just have a set time for “all kids”. “Power of Leverage is a top notch gym to learn Jiu-Jitsu. I have quite a few friends in Jiu-Jitsu since 2011 and have watched them teach and have visited other schools and have even shopped around different Jiu-Jitsu schools. I have friends that are black belts that have their own schools. When we came to Power of Leverage to visit however, it just felt like the right new home for our family. My husband, myself, and my 2 older girls train in Jiu-Jitsu. We had been at a previous school for 4 years and then felt our family needed a change. I had met Professor Kelly at a competition a couple years ago and he opened his doors for us to visit. What I loved is hearing my 2nd daughter (who was struggling with Jiu-Jitsu overall) say that she likes it here because "Professor Kelly is nice to little kids and helps me out a lot." We are about 11 miles away from this school, but find the commute worth it for the quality of teaching. Their coaches are very engaged. Professor Kelly and Mrs. Maya take great care of their gym and know all the kids by name and even their parents! They have a way of talking to each person and child and making them feel important. They have built a great team and truly make it feel like family (not a dysfunctional one). You know how they say it takes a village to raise your child? I found the village that I want to be a part of.”
