“I wanted to do an update on this review after about 9 months of training here. I honestly couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. To start i have lost about 30lbs and am actually in better shape than when I was an active duty Marine. Coach Tony (owner) is doing all the right things at Pride. There are a lot of toxic academies out there that are more focused on running a business and trapping you in long term contracts than developing practitioners. I can tell you Pride BJJ is not that place. Tony really makes his student’s development the main priority. He’s always willing to spend extra time with you as well as the rest of the colored belts. It can be intimidating coming in for the first time, but what I’ll tell you is if you come to Pride you will find an entire team of people who’s collective goal is to make each other better at this art form. We all know what it’s like to be a beginner. I genuinely hope to see you on the mats.”
