“This martial arts academy is the best in the area. Professor is compassionate, dedicated, goal oriented and conducts his academy professionally. Your child will excel under his instruction. His coaches and staff are phenomenal and guide each student in perfecting each technique they are taught. They encourage a positive attitude, good grades in school, respect for themselves, their families, teachers, the mat, peers, the GI and rash guard and the leadership team. A poor attitude in any aspect of a student’s life will afford them a longer wait time in being promoted. Bullying is absolutely prohibited and could warrant expulsion from the academy. They understand that you are paying for a service, therefore discipline is enforced. I wouldn’t go to any other academy.”

“My kids and I have been training here for 6 months (in separate classes, of course). I'm very impressed by how family-friendly it is while also being a professional and traditional BJJ Academy. The Proffesor, Regis Calixto, personally teaches every class unless he is at a competition that day. He knows every one of his students and challenges each in proportion to their skill set. He is laid back and fosters an environment of team building. No big egos here. The kids' classes are lower impact (like using games as a warm-up instead of regular exercises). They also have a female instructor present at each kids' class, which helps the little girls feel more comfortable. There is no seating inside, but they put seats near the front windows for parents to see their kids the whole time. The class schedule is flexible, and there is no upselling whatsoever. Overall, this is a great place for adults' or kids' classes.”
