Alan Teo is a first class instructor and stand up guy. He has handpicked a variety of instructor who are not only world-class practitioners of BJJ, but are talented instructors. This is often a hard combination to find. The members of the academy are warm and welcoming to all. There is a large range of talent and ranks found here. For a newer school, it is a nice surprise to find so many higher ranks (who are very helpful!). The children's class is fun and exciting for the little ones. You can sharpen your Judo talents here, as well with an Olympic coach. Muay Thai is also offered, as well as MMA training. As a woman, this school provides self defense and builds confidence, without feeling like you are an outsider at a "boys club."
