“I have 3 children who have been with Renzo Gracie for almost 2 years and I love them! All of the professors, coaches, and front desk staff are kind, inclusive, and professional. They are all genuinely good people, and the kind of leaders that I want in a learning environment for my children. We have always felt welcomed from day one, and everyone is treated fairly. The professors and coaches are keenly aware of when to be more nurturing and when to push them to grow. A typical class includes warmup, a mix of instruction time and live training, and a closing activity. I initially joined because I felt my children needed to feel more confident about themselves. I wanted them to feel like they were strong and in control of their bodies. I wanted them to be more mentally disciplined and to build their focus. I highly recommend Renzo Gracie if you have those same goals!”

“I have trained over 10 years at gyms in Austin, Chicago and Tennessee. I have also trained at Gracie Barra in Houston and Chicago. Nothing but positives experiences, however I would rate Renzo Gracie, Houston and Riverstone hands down the best gym I have been too. If you are seasoned and want to test your skills It is not uncommon to roll with 8-10 black belts on Wednesday classes. If you are new or have given up on other gyms there are plenty of teammates to guide you. Injury free, no egos great professors.”

“Professor Jamie leads a great class. There is a balance of detailed instruction, plenty of time to drill the technique of the day with a friendly partner, and solid live training at the end. Everyone I've met here is friendly and makes for good training partners. The mats are cleaned after class and the facilities are in great condition. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking to get into the sport, and to get technical training sessions with experienced, well trained students.”

He communicates his knowledge to his students extremely well. The place is very clean and welcoming. If you are looking for a place to train in the Sugarland area look no further.
