There are plenty of adults, teens, and womens classes available for any older folks too. In addition to martial arts, my kiddos are learning discipline, respect, and confidence. Everyone there has been inviting and supportive. It's a family friendly, fun environment and I cannot express how much we're enjoying our time here.”
“I haven’t personally been to this business yet, but I know many of my friends have and speak highly of it. However, I had the pleasure of meeting Totty yesterday, and in just a short conversation, it was clear how kind, down-to-earth, and genuine he is. You can immediately tell how much he cares about his people and his business, always looking for ways to improve and create the best experience possible. That kind of passion and dedication is such a great quality for a small business owner in our town, and it’s exactly what makes local businesses thrive. If the business reflects even a fraction of his commitment, I have no doubt it’s an amazing place!”
“My 7 year old son was looking for a place to train while we were away from home. When we walked in, we immediately liked the tight knit vibe. Professor Totty was great. He was personable face to face, but you could tell he knew what he was about on the mat. He wasn't just good at BJJ, but he was good at teaching those skills to young children. He was an excellent coach, and did a great job making every kid included and understood. The class time was split up pretty traditionally. Warmups, drilled a move, reviewed the move and added a combination, followed by a fun competition and then matches. The coaches assisting were involved, knew what was the goal for the day, and were good at providing feedback to the kids as they drilled. There were ample coaches to provide instructions to the number of kids attending. The facilities were clean and welcoming. The restrooms were clean too. The mat space was good sized. There was a seating area for parents to watch, and a water fountain was readily available. The last day we attended, I had a good conversation with the professor, and enjoyed hearing him discuss what it took to build a BJJ culture in the upstate. You could tell this was something he cared about and had spent a lot of time thinking through. We were the immediate beneficiaries as out of town visitors. I'd suggest you get over there and get involved if you are in the Greenville/Greer area.”
“We LOVE Rilion Gracie! My son is VERY high energy and Professor Totty does a wonderful job keeping him engaged while balancing patience with discipline. My son is learning the fundamentals while having a blast and that’s what it is all about for the kids.”
“We’ve been very thankful and grateful for not only Prof Totty’s instruction but also the time and instruction from all higher belts. Josh would not have been able to do what he has be able to without such a great group and atmosphere.”
