Explore Jiu Jitsu Techniques“I've known this gym for almost 2 years now and although I don't go as often as I used to for Muay Thai, it is the best decision I made. The coaches and the class are very welcoming. Even if you're shy, as myself, you won't feel overwhelmed. As a matter of fact, I felt that this place helped me find confidence within myself and get out of my shell. They are open to all ages and have other opportunities beyond just training if you're very consistent, like fighting in competitions! They also offer private lessons with one of the coaches. I had the opportunity to have 2 classes with Tim and I would say the advice he gave me for kicking and balance definitely changed my approach when training. Since it's a one-on-one class, it's a more in-depth/focused training towards you, however, in group classes, the coaches still advise you well on your technique. Overall, I would recommend this place for anyone who wants to get into martial arts but doesn't know where to start as you're guided well every step of the way :)”
“Awesome gym! Iv been training with Tim for years and still always learning something new. He is very knowledgeable and dedicated to the sport. He has a very good teaching style that makes it possible for anyone to learn. Great atmosphere and great people. Highly recommend”
“Cool gym, great atmosphere, friendly people, but let’s be honest that’s the norm when it comes to jiu jitsu environments. I’m giving this gym a 1 star because apparently the showers are private. I’ve been to A LOT (over 30 different gyms) of jiu jitsu gyms and I’ve never once been to a gym that had showers but I was denied from using them after class. Especially in a sport where you can get staph and ringworm access to the showers is a necessary part of our sport. So I’d say steer clear of this gym if you can, there are way more generous and accepting owners and environments where the showers are for everyone that spends time on the mats.”
“I highly recommend Ronin's Muay Thai class to anyone interested in martial arts. The expertise of coaches Tim and Dave is exceptional, and their dedication to each student is truly admirable. I’ve personally benefited from private lessons with Coach Tim. Even after years of experience, each session has significantly elevated my skills and knowledge of the sport. The welcoming atmosphere at Ronin makes it an ideal environment for people of all skill levels and being part of this great community has been a rewarding experience.”
“I have been training at Ronin BJJ participating in their Muay Thai classes for under a year. The environment is very welcoming to everyone of all levels, and the coaches Dave and Tim are very supportive and motivating. They dedicate all they do to their students of all ages and always see the best in people, even when they doubt themselves. I have been rocky with showing up to class especially when I had gotten injured but Tim and Dave have been helping me with my recovery journey and every time I do show up I don’t regret it and want to do more. It’s a great way to get some exercise while having fun. Taking Muay Thai classes has not only helped me learn defense mechanisms, but it has helped me gain confidence in myself with other things in life too and it is a good way to cope with things.”
