Changed location to 228 South main Street, Rutland. After finding the new location I dropped in to see what it was like and it was everything I ever hoped for in BJJ club. It seems very relaxed and focused on rolling to practice technique. Not the fast paced, competitive environment of mainstream gyms. Clarence was very welcoming and made me feel comfortable to come by the gym for a few classes and open mats before I make a commitment. I will definitely be joining regardless.

A great place to learn bjj. I had one of the best drop in experiences that I've ever had at a martial arts school and I first went to a gym in 1979. Coach Clarence welcomed me with open arms. When he was teaching he did an especially good job developing the skills of different level students. And when rolling he is a frustratingly good defensive player who always has a smile. His attitude was emulated by his students. This is definitely a great place to train.

Great place to train! The instructors are skilled and knowledgeable in both Gi and NoGi. I love that there’s classes and open mat days, but also that each day there’s an opportunity to catch something on the schedule! It makes it easy to incorporate BJJ into your lifestyle. The people you train with week after week begin to feel like close friends and that’s all you can ask for in a gym!

I decided to check this place out on vacation. I contacted them about the Saturday open mat and they responded quickly and told me to show up. I walked in and the coach welcomed me and rolled with me first. Everyone in the gym was welcoming and the atmosphere was very relaxed. Overall an awesome place to train. Thank you guys for having me!

You couldn't ask for a better place to learn Jiu-Jitsu. The people are great, the atmosphere is great, and the actual training is top notch. All of the people there are super friendly and very respectful. The teachers are amazing too! They offer child and adult classes, gi and no gi, and they are open 6 days per week. What more could you ask for? :)
